The World Cup is important to me in a way that's not comparable to anything else. There are so many different levels and variations of importance. My car is important to me, my work is important to me, my clothes are important to me, each of my separate friends are important to me, Twinings early grey tea is important to me, and football [soccer] is certainly important to me - But all in such different ways!

Some people who don't realise the different levels of importance seem to take sport too seriously, and other people who don't realise the different levels of importance are way too critical of people who are passionate about sport.
