explosion jokes aren't funny.

My sister sent me a message today that said simply this: The power plant in Middletown exploded. It felt like an earthquake. The house shook and it sounded like a bomb. I thought the furnace exploded [not a direct quote, but anything seems bigger than it is when put bluntly].

Point being, they're a town over in the middle of nowhere, far away from the Kleen Power Plant, which, in fact, exploded earlier today. I saw online that people felt it as far as East Haven, which is not exactly close to Middletown. Things just don't happen in Connecticut.

Part of me wishes I was there because I've never felt an earthquake, but really it's just very tragic.
