Currently watching: Yes, dear readers, Animal Planet's 'Puppy Bowl.' I can honestly say that I don't give a hoot for the Super Bowl [never had and, yeah, probably never will], so, you know, I put this on as a background for getting work done [so far, so good!]
It's the most mind-numbing thing I've ever seen, in a very positive way. It just sort of...blanks out your mind with all the adorability. Too much Cute in one place. Just sit there with your mouth hanging open. Like an animal. It's literally puppies running around a tiny american football field. There's narration, but really, it's just like the fireplace channel on Christmas day.
It's the days of the gladiators and the bear-baiting, reprised, without the violence. Maybe this means Theatre will make a comeback.
